  • Anxiety is a common mental health condition that shows up as persistent feelings of worry, fear, and unease. It often stems from feeling out of control or overwhelmed by circumstances. When you experience situations or thoughts that make you feel powerless, uncertain, or unable to cope, you might even notice physical symptoms like a rapid heartbeat, stomach upset, or shortness of breath.

  • Yes - I have experience with helping those who struggle with adjustment disorder. I work together with my clients to get them back to their regular routines with goal-setting. I also help my clients understand why a particular event may have affected them so much.

  • This is one of the things we will talk about in the evaluation because it depends on many different things. I do not prescribe medication. I can provide education about the role of medications and what we know about how and when it is helpful. I can support you in finding a physician. In collaboration with the physician, I can help you think through if medication is right for you.
