Frequently Asked Questions

  • I always recommend you set up a free 10-minute phone consultation for you to ask any questions you may have for me. You can self-schedule a consultation with me here. Finding a naturopathic doctor or therapist who is a good fit may be the most difficult part of the process! I suggest allowing 2-5 appointments to see how it feels. If I am not a good fit for you, that is okay! You are in control of when you want to stop naturopathic appointments or therapy sessions.

  • No - I work with people of all gender identities and individuals age 6 and older. My naturopathic residency was in family medicine, and my counseling clinical internship was working in community health with children and families. I have worked with individuals from 6 months old to 101 years old.

  • Yes - I am happy to provide both naturopathic medicine appointments and therapy sessions to patients. Please note that these are separate services. We will not talk extensively about your thoughts/feelings in naturopathic appointments, and we will not discuss your biomedical naturopathic care in therapy sessions. Additionally, it is important to understand that seeing me for both naturopathic medicine and mental health counseling would constitute a “dual relationship”, and we will have ongoing informed consent discussions regarding the nature of this dual relationship.

  • Schedule a free phone consultation here. On that call, we’ll discuss the nitty gritty details and determine if working together is a good fit for you. If we decide to proceed, we’ll schedule your first appointment at your convenience.
